Literacy for Nepal

Literacy for Nepal (LFN), established in 2012, is a grassroots initiative in collaboration with St. Lawrence University, USA and other partners to improve the infrastructure of government schools in rural villages of Terai-Madhesh districts.

The program supports marginalised students, especially girls with scholarships to achieve higher education.

We operate 2 libraries in government schools and have built a high school in Parsa district .

Besides, we support students from underprivileged communities whose economic conditions are weak or who face social marginalisation and discrimination.
